You can download the Local Plan online documentation from here in zip format. The file is huge at almost 1/3 GB and contains all of the original resources.
Please be aware that once you download this file and extract the content, the hyperlinks cannot be used to navigate between pages, rather you need to click on the individual html files to display the content of that page.

Confussion about planning applications.
Many people are confussed about housing allocations, having probably responded to allocations made in the Local Plan. Allocations in the Local Plan are those which Bradford Council seek to deliver in the Local Plan period to 2038. Housing applications which are not shown in the Local Plan are not yet being considered (in trajectory). The Site Assessment Update Report indicates development areas that are not currently being considered for development, these appear on pages 32 & 33 (Burley) and on pages 34 & 35 (Menston).
A good example of a site that is not being considered is BU/008 the land behind St. Mary’s Church at Burley in Wharfedale.

Please remember that this is the current situation and that Bradford Council’s ‘Call for sites,‘ referenced in the Local Plan could change the status of some of these sites in the future.
