Youth unemployment statistics.
There’s much discussion of people who are NEET (Not in Employment, Earning or Training) in the Bradford district. The headline figure is that NEET stands at 4.1% which is much lower than the national average and should be applauded, however, the headline often masks underlying issues that go unreported. These are detailed in the ONS report below.
I am pulling data directly from the ONS so that I cannot be accused of observational bias, similarly for the House of Commons report in the second section.

It should also be noted that, in Bradford local authority 2.4% of the 16-17 year old cohort were reported in a vulnerable group (see caution on the User guide about possible under-reporting).
